CamÃ¡n Summer Camp 2024

We are pleased to announce the dates for the 2024 CamÃ¡n Summer Camp taking place in Mooncoin GAA Complex on 12th to the 15th August, Monday to Thursday 10am to 1pm daily. Registration opens online on Wednesday 1st May, for boys and girls from U6 to U13 age groups.

Limited places so booking early is advised. Cost â‚¬60 per child including camp jersey option. â‚¬40 per child without camp jersey option. Cost includes specially designed CamÃ¡n Camp training jersey. Senior coaches from our Intermediate Hurling and Camogie squads will coach a different group each day. Families entered into our club Lucky Draw will receive â‚¬10 off per child on either registration option.

All Ireland Junior Club Champions 2022

Saturday 5th March will go down as a momentous day in our club history. Our junior hurlers edged out Cork champions Ballygiblin by the narrowest of margins in front of a huge traveling crowd. Trading scores in the first half Ballygiblin went in at the break slightly ahead.

However, in the second half Mooncoin upped their game with superb scores from Pa Walsh, Killian Hogan and Adam Croke all adding to the tally. The score of the goal, a sublime 70 yard sideline cut from Martin O'Neill helping to secure the win. A fantastic result for a special group of players. Well done lads!

Club Facilities

Our club has one of the best facilities in Co. Kilkenny.

Our outdoor facilities include 750m walkway around our two playing pitches, an astro turf pitch and a juvenile training/warm-up pitch.

While our indoor facilities include four dressing rooms, an indoor hall suitable for basketball and badminton, a function room, meeting room, sauna and modern fully equipped gym.
