About Camán Summer Camp - 10th to 13th August, 10am-1pm daily

Mooncoin GAA Club Camán Summer Camp is aimed at boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 14. Over four days (Monday – Thursday) players attending in our action-packed and fun-filled activities will participate in skills and drills especially designed to assist the development of hurling and camogie players from each age group.

The camp will be run by our club Games Promotion Officers (GPO) and delivered by our senior players with assistance from our u16/u18 boys and u16/u18 girls.

Registration for 2026 will open online on Friday 1st May

Camp Cost/Registration Options

  • €60 per child including camp jersey option
  • €40 per child without camp jersey option
Note: families entered into our club Lucky Draw will receive €10 off per child on either registration option. Lucky Draw receipt number is required for this discount which can be supplied by your Lucky Draw agent.

Camp Teamwear/Jersey Sizing Night

Each player will receive Camán Summer Camp TeamKit pack consisting of

  • Specially designed Camp training jersey. We are delighted to team up again this year with Azzurri Sport. Here is an illustration of the 2026 specially designed camp jersey.
  • We will once again be organising a jersey sizing night to assist parents, more details of date and time to follow shortly.

What to bring?

  • Small Packed Lunch + Drink for 'half time break' each day
  • Hurley and Helmet for Hurling and Camogie
  • Shin guards to be worn by all U6 players
