Important information to all Parents/Guardians of Juvenile players
Mooncoin GAA Juvenile Club would like to inform all parents of the following developments for this coming season. These structures have been put in place to assist both the future development of all our players and our club and include:
- Development of a club specific Player Pathway for all our juvenile and camogie coaches from U6 to U18 which ensures even greater cohesiveness and development of our players as they move through the age groups.
- Appointment of a Juvenile Coaching Coordinator and Skills Development Officers for both the Juvenile and Camogie clubs
- The club has engaged the services of sports/fitness professionals who will be working on agility and injury prevention with our U14, U16 and U18 boys teams and our camogie u14 and u16 girls teams.
- A club specific Games Promotion Officer (GPO) structure has been designed to provide hurling and camogie skills to the children in our primary schools from first-class to sixth-class in May and June this year.
Parents/Guardians you play a very important role! The more practice our young players can do at home will help toward the skills development.
